The Qantara Trio, founded in 2019 as part of the Bridges Chamber Orchestra, blends classical, traditional, and contemporary tones. With Oud, Mezzosoprano and Harp, the trio creates a unique transcultural sound: The virtuosity of Arabic oud improvisation blends with enchanting harp melodies and a warm mezzo-soprano voice, forming a harmonious fusion of Arabic, Sephardic, and European melodies.

The trio arranges and composes its own pieces, including international art songs, chansons, folk songs, and original compositions. Their concerts range from lecture concerts and transcultural song evenings to musical fairy tales for adults and baby concerts.

They perform at venues like Frankfurt's Paulskirche, the Kronberg Academy, and Bielefeld's Kanal 21. In 2023, they developed "Yalla!" for babies and toddlers, performed at Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Opera Frankfurt and other great houses. Their debut album "Lunar Whispers" was released in autumn 2023 on major platforms.
